When something happens in your life

And you think you just can’t cope

Turn your eyes to God on high

He’s there to offer hope.

He’s there to help and comfort you

He’ll always see you through

So turn your eyes to God above

Just look, He’s there for you.

If only you will seek Him

Ask Him to guide your way

His promise is He’ll walk with you

Each step you take each day.

It’s easy to ask, why me oh God

When life seems so unfair

So turn your eyes toward heaven

And trust that He is there.

He’s there to help you understand

Why things turned out this way

Turn your eyes toward Almighty God

And kneel to Him and pray.

He always knows before you ask

Your thoughts, your dreams, your fears

He promises you an answer

And He’ll wipe away your tears.

Sometimes His answer’s not the one

You want so desperately

But put your faith and trust in Him

And He can set you free. 

The peace and joy that He will give

When you let Him share your pain

By looking up to Him for help

You’ve everything to gain.

God sent His Son to save you

Jesus suffered and He died

He shed His blood so you may live

When he was crucified.

God strengthens faith in adverse times

So keep Him in your heart

Turn your eyes toward the living God

And let the healing start.
